Get in touch- What do you do day to day?
- I plan projects, define the approach, write technical design docs, lead the team, line manage engineers, and I also love to build and ship features myself.
- What's your tech stack?
- React and TypeScript are my daily drivers right now, but I reach for the right tool for the job.
- How do you approach a project?
- Question everything before we build it. What happens at the edges? What breaks? What haven't we thought about? Better to catch it at design stage than in production. Working across a lot of different products over the years teaches you where things usually go wrong.
- What do you think usually needs extra attention?
- Performance and accessibility. I care about TTFB as much as how fast something feels. I build to WCAG AA as standard, not an afterthought.
- How do you use AI in your work?
- We get on great and work really well together. There's an old distinction between efficiency (doing things right) and effectiveness (doing the right things). AI takes the first, I take the second.
- What are you tinkering with outside of work?
- On-device AI. I'm interested in what's possible when inference doesn't need a round trip to a server.
